Dr. Jennifer Mickelson

Urologist

Dr. Jennifer Mickelson is an experienced urologist, practicing at our False Creek Healthcare Centre, with specialization in pediatric and general urology. She also participates in clinical activities at the Richmond Hospital, Pediatric and general urology Locum; Vancouver General, Associate staff; Lion’s Gate, Richmond Royal Columbian and Abbotsford Hospitals, Assist privileges for urology cases; and Lethbridge Hospital, general Urology Locum.

She received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of British Columbia, Faculty of Medicine, where she also completed her Urology residency. She went on to receive a Pediatric Urology Fellowship at the Children’s Memorial Hospital, department of Pediatric Urology. She is currently pursuing her masters in Health Professions Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

She has 15 published pieces relating to the field of Pediatric and Urology. She has received numerous awards including Five Start Award for top poster in session from the Canadian Urological Association, and 2nd Prize Clinic Research Award from the American Academy of Paediatrics.
