Dr. Neil Orzech is a Royal College Board-certified surgeon, specializing in Minimally Invasive, Bariatric, and General Surgery at our Centric Health Surgical Toronto.

Dr. Orzech graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from the University of Ottawa Medical School. He also holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Toronto. He was a Research Fellow within the division of Toronto General Hospital’s Wilson Centre for Research in Medical Education and was a Resident Researcher for the University of Toronto’s Surgeon Scientist and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario Clinical Investigator Program. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Toronto followed by a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Orzech has co-authored 10 peer-reviewed publications and holds numerous awards including: The Harrison Award for Excellence in Teaching, Division of General Surgery Teaching Award for Excellence in Surgical Excellence and the University Health Network Sopman Humanitarian Award.
