Dr. Stephen French

Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Stephen French is a Royal College Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, with special interest in sports medicine and knee reconstruction, at our Calgary Surgical Centre, Canadian Surgery Solutions. He is also the Assistant Professor for the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and a Lecturer within the Faculty of Medicine Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Calgary.

He received his Medical Doctorate (MD) in 1999 from the University of Toronto and his Fellowship in Operative Sports Medicine in 2005 from Western University. He also holds a Fellowship in Complex Lower Extremity Reconstruction from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine.

He is the co-author of a book on High Tibial Osteotomy. He is fluent in both English and French.
